// don’ts you do at a restaurant //

do not!!….

1) if you see your server is busy, please respect them and wait. dont u dare walk up to them while they are helping another customers. 

2) walk into our working space. or wait for us near our work space we will come to you. 

3) whistle at us, slap your finger at us and wave us down to get our attention. we know you r there we r just busy. 

4) Dont leave a ridiculous amount of mess for us to clean up

“DO” 5) ALWAYS tip, if u have money to eat you should money to tip the person that took care of you. 

6) dont rush us! we have hundreds of other ppl to take care of. you r no exception. 

*notes: to those are perfectionist. dont u dare be disrespectful to the server just because they did not get ur food picture perfect. 

7) common sense here…if the restaurant is busy of course the food is going to take longer to make. dont bitch and whine that ur food is taking too long. especially if u ordered a steak well fucken done. 

8) DONT yell at us…and dont dare call us bad names. 

9) dont give us attitude just because ur having a bad day keep it to urself please we don’t like working in hassle environment. 

10) Don’t know act like you know the menu better than the server does, there are some servers that have been there before you were born or 3+ years. they have to study the menu like how u study for a test. 

11) my pet peeve: Don’t get up and move to another table because you didn’t like that certain table.  especially (wait list) when its full there are other people waiting for that table.
